Waterfall Midnight - a poem by Mike Stone

- Waterfall Midnight - a poem

- by Mike Stone 10/5/2010
- Dedicated to ...

- When you think about the night's sky
- When you can see the stars... as they fill your mind
- When you let their light rest gleaming upon you
- When you feel their magic touch the deepest part of you
- You will almost know how much I want you to feel alive
- You can begin to imagine how the moon slowly glides
- Completely across the surrendering darkness
- It's gaze will comfort and stir up passion inside

- Under this glittering and glowing blanket above

- If you were a mountain, I would move you
- If you were a hill, I would cause you to quiver
- If you were a valley, I would cause you to quake
- If you were the air, I could see you swirling around
- If you were a fire, I could see you glowing brighter

- Under this glittering and glowing blanket above

- You source of life, lovely you, you and your passionate soul
- Allow yourself to wonder what it is like to feel the source of those stars
- Pouring over you, as if you were underneath a waterfall
- Listen to the sound of continually falling stars on top of you
- Like water as wet mist surrounds you
- Cupping your hand as the celestial water drips and engulfs your senses
- You can feel everything...
- STOP ...in this moment, this one second...
- Pausing now, this one second of midnight seems to be still, right here...
- And as time continues to stop,
- and on your hand can feel this warm water flowing from eternity
- And you feel yourself ... take a deep breath...
- and savor this memory...
- Savor the feeling of this energy flowing down you
- Savor the feeling of this magic slowing gliding against your skin
- Savor the fresh smell in this magical place...
- Savor the magical sounds that are flowing...
- If you can remember this... and fix it in your mind...

- Under this glittering and glowing blanket above

- Someday you may find someone to lead you there again
